Tomorrowland Presents: Around the World
Belgian EDM festival, Tomorrowland, canceled the 2020 event after the rapid spread of COVID-19 and government orders. With nearly 400,000 loyal attendees expressing disappointment, the festival’s staff knew 2020 could not be left without a Tomorrowland affair. Therefore, Around The World, the digital festival, was born.
About Around The World
Around The World is unlike any digital festival you’ve ever seen before—it offers a similar, yet upgraded, visual environment called Pāpiliōnem. In fact, this untouched area is said to be located in the middle of the ocean. There is nothing clouding your view except sugar-white beaches, towering mountains and vibrant sherbert-colored sunsets. In fact, the legends say that all who visit will encounter all four seasons in one day! This kind of experience has only seen in history books and fairytales.
Around The World will host nearly 70 performers across two days, July 25 – 26. Some of the lineup’s most celebrated musicians include Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Carnage, NGHTMRE, Robin Schulz, David Guetta, Don Diablo, and others. However, Tomorrowland will announce special performances shortly. This multi-media entertainment will span across several new stages for people across the globe to enjoy. Pāpiliōnem seeks to bring fans closer together than ever before through purity, freedom and music.
Viewers can access Pāpiliōnem on a smartphone, PC or tablet. This inclusive event does not require virtual reality equipment and welcomes guests of all ages and genders. A day pass costs €12.50 while a weekend pass costs €20.00. The tickets sell out in minutes, so secure your admission now!
Tomorrowland’s first annual event kicked off in 2005 and now spans across two weekends. The 16th Tomorrowland will take place on July 16-18 and July 23-25 2021.
